‘Then he came closer
One step at a time, he came closer.
To my side, to my eyes, and more closer to my heart
The rhythm of my heartbeat was interrupted
Every other tune I tried to play other than this love became offkey
I held a breath or two or maybe more, yet my life wasn’t disrupted.
How could my head be under the ocean of love
And I’m still living without breathing fine?
The strings of my heart got broken and I could play no more songs
of how love is wicked ‘cos I was wrong
love is kind, love is patient
